AI Engineer

About the role

Running a practice is a mountain of operational decisions: what to order, who to schedule, which supplier to trust, how to train the team. Tivtav is the one platform for the operational back office of a practice, and AI is how we turn that mountain into a few smart nudges. We're early. As our AI Engineer you'll build the intelligence layer: not demos, but AI features that real practices rely on every day.

What you'll do

• Design and ship AI features: assistants, automations, forecasting, document and inventory intelligence.
• Own the full loop: prototyping, evaluation, shipping, and improving in production.
• Turn messy operational data into reliable, useful output people trust.
• Make pragmatic model, tooling, and infra choices; keep quality and cost honest.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on with modern AI/LLM tooling: you've shipped, not just experimented.
• Strong engineering fundamentals; you can build the product around the model, not just the model.
• Rigorous about evaluation: you know a good demo isn't a good product.
• Bonus: RAG, agents, structured extraction, or health/ops data experience.
