CTO

About the role

Practice owners are brilliant professionals and accidental business operators. They spend years learning their craft, and about zero time learning how to run a practice: team, inventory, suppliers, hiring and education. Tivtav is the one platform that closes that gap: the operating system for the operational back office of a practice. We're early, and we're looking for a CTO to own the technology from the ground up. Not to inherit a stack, but to build the one that scales.

What you'll do

• Own architecture, tech strategy, and the engineering roadmap end to end.
• Build and ship the first versions yourself; you're still very hands-on with code.
• Hire and shape the founding engineering team as we grow.
• Make the build-vs-buy, AI, and infrastructure calls that set us up for the next five years.
• Partner closely with the founders on product and go-to-market.

What we're looking for

• You've built and scaled software products, ideally 0→1 and beyond.
• Deep full-stack ability and strong opinions on architecture, held loosely.
• You've led engineers, or you're clearly ready to.
• Pragmatic about shipping: you know when to be fast and when to be careful, especially with healthcare data.
• Bonus: experience in health-tech, vertical SaaS, or operations-heavy products.
